What it trains
Deciding where to look and when to stop looking. Every MindFrame game is built around one primary mental skill, so a run is practice at that skill rather than a general brain workout.
How a run works
- 1A fogged map hides a known number of treasures. You have a fixed budget of probes.
- 2Sonar pings count treasure across a 3×3 area; digs reveal one tile. Every probe that finds nothing costs a point.
- 3Claim the site or pack up when looking stops paying. The review shows where you stopped against the engine's own policy.
What a finished run counts toward
- XP and your progress, with a daily cap so replaying cannot out-earn scored training.
- The Judgment territory on your Mind Map.
- Nothing on your Cognitive Fingerprint — no Fingerprint axis measures this skill, so we do not pretend one does.
Getting better at a game shows you got better at that game. It is not evidence of improvement outside it; see transparency.
