MindFrame was built to fix that — one session at a time.
The problem
Think about how most knowledge tools work: you answer a question, you're told if you're right or wrong, and you move on. That loop trains you to get answers right — but it doesn't train you to think better.
The most dangerous cognitive state isn't ignorance. It's confident ignorance — being wrong while believing you're right. This is what drives poor decisions, missed diagnoses, failed predictions, and bad leadership. And virtually no training tool addresses it.
Metacognition — thinking about your own thinking — is the layer that separates consistently good reasoners from people who are just occasionally lucky. It can be trained. But it requires a different kind of feedback loop.
Our approach
MindFrame measures what matters — not just whether you got it right.
Were you right? This is the foundation. Accuracy matters. But it's only the start.
Claude reads your reasoning and scores it independently of whether your answer was correct. A lucky right answer with bad reasoning scores lower than a thoughtful wrong answer.
You rate your confidence before seeing the result. We measure the gap between your confidence and your accuracy. Closing this gap is the core skill MindFrame trains.
What we believe
Almost every high-performance domain — medicine, finance, leadership, research — rewards people who know what they know. Calibration is not soft. It is foundational.
Most training tools only measure whether you got the right answer. That trains performance anxiety, not thinking. MindFrame scores three things: outcome quality, reasoning quality, and self-awareness quality.
We use Claude to score the quality of your reasoning — not to hand you answers. The goal is to make you better at thinking, not to do your thinking for you.
Cognitive session data is intimate. We never sell it, never use it to train models, and give you the right to delete it entirely at any time.
Who built this
MindFrame is built by VaultSpark Studios — an independent studio focused on building products that make people think more clearly. We believe the most important technology is technology that sharpens human judgment rather than replacing it.
Every feature in MindFrame was tested against a simple question: does this make you better at thinking, or does it just make you feel good about thinking? We build for the former.
